Pin and Tennis Ball were on bad terms in BFDI, with Pin often belittling Tennis Ball. Their relationship was even worse in BFDIA, where they were constantly at each other's throats. They are shown to be on better terms as of IDFB, however.
Episodes suggesting a conflict[]
In "Are You Smarter Than a Snowball?", when Tennis Ball was rolling, he fell into Woody's hole, but got stuck. Pin, disgusted, tried to push and kick Tennis Ball into the hole, which was successful.
In "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", Tennis Ball roots for Pin to switch off their team.
In "Get Digging", Tennis Ball backs away when Pin asks if anyone wants to switch to her team.
In "Get in the Van", Tennis Ball jumps over a knife, thrown by Pin, that was meant to kill Leafy.
In "Respect to the Wicked", Tennis Ball tells Pin she was a lot nicer when she didn't have a face.
In "Airplanes in the Night Sky", Tennis Ball tells Pin she has an ugly soul after she offers Fries assistance in killing him. A few moments after, she sets him on fire, with him replying that nobody likes her anymore.
In "🥚", Pin makes fun of Tennis Ball for being excited about the result being a prime number, calling him a nerdy weirdo. Tennis Ball retaliates by saying she has no friends. Pin groans when he wins the prize, and says she doubts his pet amoeba has anything nice to say about him.
When Coiny says respect to Pin winning the last challenge, Tennis Ball angrily says he'd personally like to see her obliterated, and maybe clip her ugly point. Later, Pin steals Tennis Ball's prize (a universal translator) and feeds it to the fish monster so they can understand it.
In "Launch Party", when Tennis Ball's basket says Pin is safe and Tennis Ball has entered the danger zone, Tennis Ball kicks his basket in frustration and angrily says: "That evil Pin-ball!"
