Popcorn is a contestant in BFDI Mini Delicious, one of 10 contestants that were picked for the season, first being recommended in "Vomitaco" but specifically originating from "This Episode is About Basketball".

Popcorn is a small paper red and white striped bag containing popcorn. The exact shape or dimensions of Popcorn's bag are unknown, as are how many individual popcorns they have or what flavour they are.

Personality[]

Popcorn isn't very expressive and usually keeps to themselves. They don't seem to particularly care about anything and don't react much other than the occasional slight smile and the one fight with another contestant. They are also seen as generally rather slow, being both slow to act and slow to react. They are however appreciative of help, being one of the few things that Popcorn will smile at.

Battle for Dream Island[]

In "Vomitaco", they appear during the recommended characters crowd scene for that episode being recommended by TDAWorld. In that scene they are a member of the large crowd that is watching that episodes Cake at Stake and is standing next to the bleachers.

In "Reveal Novum", they appear during the recommended characters crowd scene for that episode being recommended by cheese7373. In that scene they are shown in a vertical panning shot as the Announcer explains the "only one recommended character per recommender" budget cut.

In "Return of the Hang Glider", they are seen with all the other recommended characters from season 1 during the panning scene on the bleachers watching the last Cake at Stake of the season, they appear in two different places being grouped with different sets of characters due to being recommended in two different episodes. They are seen with the episode 15 recommended characters and the episode 18 recommended characters. They are part of the recommended character "Every Recommended Character" recommended by marioluigi0128 in the previous episode.

Battle for Dream Island Again[]

In "Get in the Van", they appear in the anniversary wheel that starts the episode with all the other season 1 recommended characters. They appear a total of two times in the wheel due to being recommended in two different episodes.

Battle for BFDI[]

In "This Episode Is About Basketball", they appear during the recommended characters crowd scene for that episode being recommended by Smargin G. In that scene they are hit by one of the balls, a pink ball specifically, that Coiny throws resulting in them becoming sad.

In "Enter the Exit", they appears during the recommended characters crowd scene for that episode being recommended by Smargin G. He is shown as X chases after David in an attempt to eliminate him, specifically Popcorn is seen in the bottom row of characters.

In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", they appears during the recommended characters crowd scene for that episode also being recommended by Smargin G. He is shown while Fanny walks towards Four to ask him to recover Bubble.

In "Don't Dig Straight Down", they appear in three different groups of recommended character crowd scenes for that episode always being recommended by Midnight. They first appear buried underground while iance is digging to escape the lava, then they are seen above ground screaming from being burnt to death by the lava after Cake mentions that everyone is probably dead, then finally they are shown during the credits of the episode.

In "The Four is Lava", two different versions of them appear with various different batches of recommended character crowd scenes for that episode being recommended by either Smargin G or Midnight. Both Popcorns first appear with the first batch in the lava as Saw and Dora go to Four to tell him about their team. Then Midnight's Popcorn appears with the second batch slowly sinking into the lava as Four takes the remaining underground members of Bleh to the Cake at Stake area. Then Midnight's Popcorn appears again with the third batch also slowly sinking into the lava as Four takes Ice Cube and Taco to the Cake at Stake area. Then Midnight's Popcorn appears again with the third batch heading towards Earth from space after Four announces the challenge. Then finally Smargin G's Popcorn appears with the ninth batch as Clock walks away from his team while talking to himself.

Battle for BFB[]

In "How Loe Can You Grow?", they appear during the credits of the episode being recommended by Golden P A.

In "Fashion For Your Face!", they appear during the credits of the episode being recommended by Wyvernagon.

In "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", they appear during the credits of the episode being recommended by Midnight.

BFDI Mini Delicious[]

In "Balloon Toss", Popcorn is seen with Raisin as a part of "Pair #3" looking generally uninterested. Raisin chucks the balloon towards a sitting Popcorn and it lands on their head causing Popcorn to slightly smile and for the two of them to be safe.

In "Survive the Desert", Popcorn is seen sitting in the desert looking at an agitated Snake however later Vomit floats over to them and lands on the snake killing it and keeping Popcorn safe causing Popcorn to smile.

In "Stay On The Balance Beam", Popcorn is standing on the balance beam bored looking to the side and is later seen sitting down dangling their feet off the front end of the balance beam when Popsicle and Jordan come careening down the beam however they manage to do a kickflip over Popcorn causing them to smile.

In "Screaming Contest", Popcorn is sitting with Chips watching the "No More Advertisements Foundation" advertisement on TV when Cereal Box's mascot slides into them on a trail of splatted Vomit causing them to scream as they are moved off screen which causes them to be safe from elimination.

In "Hide and Seek", Popcorn runs away from Chips scared when it's revealed that Chips is the seeker for the challenge along with everyone else and immediately manages to hide under the tables at Gelatin's Steakhouse when Jordan also tries to hide there and so they start glaring at each other. Later they are seen pushing and shoving each other when Popcorn manages to push them out from under the tables just as Chips was walking by causing Jordan to be spotted and be up for elimination which kept Popcorn safe from elimination.

In "Red Light, Green Light", Popcorn slowly walks forwards when the robot David turned it's back and stops when the robot David faces them again and when Vomit falls over and splats onto the ground Popcorn stifles a laugh, robot David then turns around again and so Popcorn walks forward again but then Popsicle slides past them and knocks them over and when robot David faces them once more Popcorn falls backwards causing them to be up for elimination.

In "Last to Leave the Circle", Popcorn apathetically looks at the vote results with Vomit and when it's revealed that Vomit is eliminated they slightly smile before immediately walking away.

In "Musical Chairs", Popcorn is seen walking apathetically around the playing boombox behind Popsicle not noticing Popsicle's angry glare. When a bowling ball destroys the boombox then proceeds to apathetically walk towards the three seats instead, they walk around with no real goal until a seat lands nearby them and so they start walking towards that seat before Popsicle slides backwards into them sending Popcorn into the sky making them unable to get to the seat and putting them up for elimination.

In "Eat the Most Pancakes", Popcorn looks at the stacks of pancakes that represents the vote results with little interest and when it's revealed that Popcorn is eliminated Popcorn just walks off and keeps walking until they just disappear.

In "Don't Die", Popsicle is seen sitting at the steakhouse benches along with all the other previously eliminated contestants as they watch the final challenge with a lack of care. Once Cereal Box is revealed to be the winner Popcorn is seen with all the other contestants and is slightly smiling.

  • Popcorn and Popsicle share some similarities:
    • Both were recommended in season 4 but were first recommended in season 1.
    • Both were recommended in pre-split and post-split.
    • Both have names that start with "Pop".
    • Both have been multiple different colours.
    • Both ended up competing in the same mini season.
    • Both are considered "cool dudes" by Four in the season compilation video.
  • Popcorn and Fries share some similarities:
    • Both are containers filled with yellow snacks.
    • Both appear grumpy most of the time.
    • Both mainly feature red for the designs of their containers.
  • The background seen when Popcorn walks away and disappears during their elimination is the same background used for the zoomed out shot during Coiny's and Firey's argument in BFDI 12.
