Episodes suggesting a conflict[]
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 2", during a commercial break, Purple Face says that no one wears Non-Slip Shoes So Ha anymore. Yellow Face claims that he doesn't know anything because he's purple, causing Purple Face to call him "racist". At the end of the commercial, Purple Face says to not buy the product, and Yellow Face gets mad and eats him.
In "Well Rested", Yellow Face attempts to scare FreeSmart with a story about Purple Face, but all he does is make insults about him.
In "Intruder Alert", Bomby's newly acquired purple color reminds Yellow Face of the moment when Purple Face criticized his product.
In "Catch These Hands", Yellow Face's attempts to use Win Tokens to postpone his elimination are interrupted by Purple Face who steals them, much to his anger. He calls Purple Face a fool, a clown, and an "absolute chromatic aberration", to which Purple Face either sarcastically or ignorantly replies with "Yes, calling for duty." Yellow Face then claims that Purple Face had time and time again proven that he has no morals and that Puffball Speaker Box wouldn't stand for it. When she claims that she will stand for it, Yellow Face replies that she's not helping and that he's trying to have a standoff with his "main rival." In response, Purple Face claims that he's actually his fashion inspiration and forcibly puts "Total Slip Shoes So Wah" on him. Yellow Face throws them away and claims that they are the ugliest shoes he'd ever seen, and when Purple Face reveals his plan to mass produce more, Yellow Face decides to trap him inside a beryllium box, claiming it's 100% off for him. However the box's acid resistance ends up saving Purple Face when the Clubhouse of Awesomeness is destroyed by acid, killing Yellow Face.
In "Let's Raid The Warehouse", some contestants travel to Yellow Face's Warehouse, where Gelatin finds the same box that says "Don't Open; Purple Inside". This strongly implies that after Yellow Face was recovered, he left Purple Face in his warehouse to spite his rival even more.
Ambiguous canon[]
In "Claustrophobe's Nightmare", during a commercial break, Yellow Face asks the viewer if they've ever had a claw machine break on them. This leads Purple Face to state that he broke his own claw machine by pouring chocolate milk into it until it overflowed, prompting an angry response from Yellow Face. Purple Face then asks him about what would happen if someone were to get stuck inside a machine. Yellow Face nervously tells him that it is unlikely to happen. Yellow Face tells Purple Face to go with Cloudy back to the machine to help Cloudy free Book, Donut and Match.

- However, Yellow Face is currently voiced by Michael Huang in BFDI and BFDIA-present, while Purple Face is currently voiced by Benjamin Cross in BFDI:TPOT 17-present.
