The quasar is a supermassive black hole that first appeared in "Gardening Zero" and killed three Funny Plants. It is 2,763 light-years away from Earth.

It is an extremely luminous object powered by a supermassive black hole. Its accretion disk is bright enough to be seen, even at almost 3,000 light-years away. It can fire powerful gamma-ray burst jets, which could damage plant life thousands of light-years away.
