Breaking news!
— Radio Announcer, "Sweet Tooth"

The Radio Announcer is an unseen character that first "appears" in "Sweet Tooth".

The Radio Announcer has not been physically seen, so only the radios they communicate through can count as "appearances".

Little is known about the Radio Announcer's personality. It is likely they are an employed being to operate a radio station to deliver news and advertisements across Goiky. It is unknown how, or where the radio transmissions are sent from.

The Radio Announcer first "appears" in "Sweet Tooth" during the night scene. In the scene, they announce that Needle's Cake has detached from Earth's surface and started to undergo nuclear fusion and become a star.

The Radio Announcer once again appears in "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", also during the night scene with Leafy in Yoyleland. In that scene, the Radio Announcer is communicating through Boombox; they are advertising the Leafy Detector. Leafy later switches Boombox off, therefore she can no longer listen to the Radio Announcer.

In "How Loe Can You Grow?", the radio in the FreeSmart Supervan starts to work again suddenly, leading to a very low quality male voice being heard. It is likely that this is the Radio Announcer.

  • The Radio Announcer is one of the few unseen characters in Battle for Dream Island.
  • The radio that Radio Announcer communicates through in "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know" is supposed to resemble Boombox from Brawl of the Objects.
  • Up until "How Loe Can You Grow?", they only appeared in night scenes.
