Rafty is a contestant in BFDI Mini Resort as one of 10 recommended characters chosen to compete, originating from "This Episode is About Basketball".
Appearance[]
Rafty is an inflatable yellow inner tube with blue handles and a hole in the middle, resembling a contemporary pool float. Their face and arms are located on the lower half.
Personality[]
Rafty lacks athletic abilities and fine motor skills, almost failing to catch the frisbee, and running around panicked while doing so. In Build A Sandcastle, Rafty seems to take a simple approach, molding their castle into a simple mound before Palmy joins them. They don't react much when Sunscreen runs through them, and gets knocked away when Diving Board runs through them. This can imply that they have poor reaction skills, and aren't really aware of their surroundings. Even still they jump around for joy when they're declared safe. Overall, Rafty appears to be blank, simpleminded, unaware of their surroundings, but still happy to be here.

Battle for BFB[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", Rafty is one of many recommended characters to be aimed at with a ball from Coiny. However, due to the hole in the middle of Rafty, they do not get hit, remaining happy unlike many of the recommended characters around them.
BFDI Mini Resort[]
In "Catch the Frisbee!" Rafty is part of the initial group that finds the frisbees. They are paired up with Palmy, with them having to catch. They try to catch the frisbee, sprinting around. Although they fail the catch, thanks to the hole in the middle of them, the frisbee gets jammed, counting as a catch for the duo.
In "Build a Sandcastle", Rafty goes ahead and starts building a simple mound of sand to reach higher than Sandcastle. Palmy joins them, which they don't notice at first. They watch Palmy add more stuff until Sunscreen pops through them, and then Diving Board kicks them far away. When Sandcastle comes to judge the buildings, Rafty has returned, and gets excited seeing that they're safe.
In "See Shells on the Seashore!", Rafty spends the episode hunting down a shell. They can't seem to find one, though, and by the time they do, Coconut Water had already found it. They realize they're up for elimination, but seem to be the only one, until one of the cameramen whispers to Rafty. With the gathered evidence against Orange Surfboard, Rafty still is up for elimination, but not automatically eliminated, going against Orange Surfboard.
