Redcurrant is a contestant in BFDI Mini Natural, one of 10 contestants that were picked for the season, originating as a recommended character from "The Four is Lava".
Appearance[]
Redcurrant is a red currant berry with a long green stem with a single downwards facing bumpy leaf on one side of their stem.
Personality[]
Redcurrant seems to be a rather logical and strategic character who is usually unimpressed or annoyed by characters that are overly proud of themselves or characters that do brash actions and they also seem to be quite the stickler for rules.

Battle for BFDI[]
In "The Four is Lava", they appear during the first batch of recommended characters for that episode being recommended by JenningsAsYetUntitled. They are seen when Dora and Saw swim through lava to reach Four to tell him where their team is.
Battle For Dream Island: The Power of Two[]
In "BFB 31", Redcurrant is in the back of the crowd watching Loser perform with Rose. They are unimpressed with the performance.
BFDI Mini Natural[]
In "Grab A Leaf", Redcurrant is seen attempting to think of a strategy for the challenge before suddenly being pushed out of the way by Geode, much to their annoyance. Redcurrant watched Geode's plan of using Seashell as a springboard to get to the top of the tree with a rather unimpressed facial expression. They are extremely annoyed to see Geode's plan work in getting them a leaf, seen crossing their arms still at the base of the tree. When Grapes knocks Geode using a stick and causes the leaves to start falling off the tree, Redcurrant is seen looking at Grapes with a fed up expression, before turning back to the tree and frantically waving their arms in an attempt to grab one of the falling leaves, however they stop and instead decide to start hastily climbing the tree which allows them to be the first person at the trees base to grab a falling leaf and be safe from elimination.
In "Mow the Lawn", Redcurrant is seen simply flattening a section of grass, completing the challenge and making them safe from elimination. Later, after Geode jumps from the top of a tree and slams into the ground, the shockwave of this slam sends Redcurrant flying from where they were standing before eventually hitting a frozen block containing Spruce Tree causing them to falls over and flatten Autumn Leaf.
In "Survive Evil Leafy", Redcurrant is seen sitting with Aurora Borealis and Chestnut however they stand up when they notice Evil Leafy approaching the three of them. They are the only one scared of Evil Leafy as she approaches and when Aurora Borealis fails to freeze Evil Leafy with their frost breath they immediately begin screaming, sweating heavily, flailing their arms wildly, and running away.
In "Climb Over the Garden Wall", Redcurrant is seen looking at the wall and thinking before suddenly rummaging through a box of shovels and grabbing a pink shovel. Redcurrant then proceeds to start digging underground towards the wall, with the goal of tunnelling under the wall in order to complete the challenge. After a while, Redcurrant finally breaks the ground on the other side of the wall with their shovel and they squeeze themselves through the hole before popping out on the other side with a smile. They stand on the other side of the wall with a confident smile only for them to not be given immunity much to their shock, due to the challenge specifically being to climb "over" the garden wall which they didn't do. With an annoyed sigh and facepalm, Redcurrant turns around and is about to go back through the hole they dug when they notice a shadow being cast over them from Seashell on top of the garden wall. Redcurrant watches as Seashell falls face first off the wall and is made safe, leaving Redcurrant up for elimination.
In "Balance Off the Evil Canyon", Redcurrant is seen perched on top of Spruce Tree staring up to the sky as two butterflies fly in holding a paper with the voting results on it, revealing that Redcurrant is eliminated with 63% if the votes. Redcurrant jumps down from atop Spruce Tree with an upset expression and seem scared looking towards the left, only for Evil Leafy to suddenly teleport in front of them causing them to scream while jumping backwards before quickly turning away and running backwards with flailing arms as Evil Leafy teleports after them.
In "Survive the Swarm of Bees", it is revealed that Redcurrant is still screaming and running away from the rapidly teleporting Evil Leafy arms flailing when they suddenly trip and fall in front of a tree with a beehive attached to it. The beehive falls and cracks open letting out a swarm of annoyed and angry bees but Evil Leafy is still rapidly approaching so Redcurrant immediately gets back up again and continues running away from her.
In "3-Legged Race", Redcurrant is seen still running and screaming trying to get away from Evil Leafy, although Evil Leafy is no-where to be seen, before bumping into the back of Geode. They are then seen hurt and rubbing their head from the collision before realising it was Geode they ran into and glaring at them angrily. In the 3-legged race rejoin challenge, Redcurrant is teamed up with Geode and so Redcurrant walks in synchrony with Geode while glaring at them with their arms crossed. Later, when Lotus Flower and Chestnut are neck in neck with them, Redcurrant walks faster with a shocked expression while still managing to walk in synchrony with Geode and as both pairs jump to cross the finish line Redcurrant starts screaming. Redcurrant and Geode manage to be closer to the finish line though and so they pass it first meaning that Redcurrant will be up for voting in the rejoin to which Redcurrant reacts with a wide grin while looking at Geode, however then suddenly a chopped down Spruce Tree falls and smashes Geode into bits much to Redcurrant's shock. Later, Redcurrant is seen smiling when Autumn Leaf also manages to make it over the finish line.
In "Travel 2,763 Miles", Redcurrant is seen looking up at the vote percentage as it shows that they got 0% of the votes, and so they look down blankly. This however is revealed to be a daydream of Autumn Leaf and that in actuality Redcurrant got 69% of the vote and so rejoined the game, backing away slowly and awkwardly from Autumn Leaf as they continue to daydream their victory. They are then seen standing with the other contestants while thinking of how to complete the challenge however then Beehive pulls out their Beehive SuperVan and so Redcurrant just hitches a ride with them along with Spruce Tree and Grapes. Later, while the Beehive SuperVan is driving through the Goiky Canal, Redcurrant can be seen struggling to hold their breath however they manage to hold it until the reach Yoyleland therefor meaning that they travelled 2,763 miles and have completed the challenge and is safe.
In "Dig the Farthest Down", Redcurrant is seen smiling confidently as they stand in their circle ready for the challenge. They are the first person to attempt to grab a shovel out of the box to start digging but when they pull a shovel out they are frightened to discover that bugs have damaged and destroyed the shovel. Later, instead of fighting over the sole undamaged shovel, Redcurrant decides to use their teeth to dig into the ground and while this does work a bug ends up crawling into their mouth, which they don't like, before promptly poisoning and killing Redcurrant. In the end though, because Spruce Tree and Beehive failed to dig anything in their circles, Redcurrants one chomp of digging was enough to keep them safe.
In "Say a Word Challenge", Redcurrant is seen sitting at the opening of the hole that Spruce Tree and Beehive created last episode looking bored and annoyed as they look between the loading vote percentages and hole before then walking up to the entrance of the hole and peering down it while impatiently tapping their foot. When they see something inside the hole their expression changes to one of questioning before suddenly a bunch of bats, a massive Davidworm, and both Spruce Tree and Beehive suddenly fly out of the hole as Redcurrant shields their face and grimaces before eventually being knocked onto their back. When Beehive tries walking way upon finding out that the vote between them and Spruce Tree was exactly 50/50, Redcurrant stops them and tells them to get Spruce Tree back here, as Spruce Tree is stuck on the back of the Davidworm which is now flying through the sky, so that they can finish the elimination and figure out who actually got the most votes and with an angry glare, Redcurrant gets Beehive to agree to help them. Later, Redcurrant is seen looking at the Goiky Canal only to see the giant Davidworm heading straight for them, causing Redcurrant's eyes to comically widen in fear in reaction. Redcurrant then runs away from the chasing huge Davidworm all while screaming and waving their arms wildly however when Grapes attempts to shoot a grape at the large Davidworm, Grapes misses and instead ends up inadvertently hitting Redcurrant knocking them unconscious and allowing the massive Davidworm to eat and kill Redcurrant therefor putting Redcurrant up for elimination. In the voting screen, a grave for Redcurrant is seen.
