Sandcastle is a contestant in BFDI Mini Resort as one of 10 recommended characters chosen to compete, originating as a recommended character from "The Four Is Lava".
Appearance[]
Sandcastle is a sculpted sandcastle with three pillars, appearing at a side view with the middle pillar appearing the largest from perspective. They have a face and arms but lack any visible legs, but they are still able to move across sand.
Changes[]
- Sandcastle is a darker color.
- Sandcastle's color changes to match the sand color of the Resort.
Personality[]
Sandcastle appears to be carefree and easygoing. They are quite fragile physically, with a hit from a frisbee incapacitating them. In Build A Sandcastle, they don't seem to be too distraught over being eliminated, simply frowning and then moving on to host the next challenge themed after them. Their judging doesn't seem too strict, only needing to be taller than them to qualify as being safe. Their simple judging also makes them not appreciate the work or individuality in each creation either, only giving the thumbs up every time. This makes characters like Coconut Water, who built a sandcastle in Sandcastle's likeness out of guilt for being eliminated, feel more uncertain when they don't even react much to the creations built.
They have the ability to go into the sand and burrow, leaving behind a path of sand when they go underground.

Battle for BFB[]
In "The Four is Lava", Sandcastle is seen sinking into the lava as Four retrieves 
for Cake at Stake.
BFDI Mini Resort[]
In "Catch the Frisbee!", Sandcastle is first with the group who discovers the frisbees, before being put onto a team with Coconut Water. When the frisbee is first thrown, Sandcastle fails to catch it, dying by being cut in half in the process. However, thanks to them being made out of sand, and the fact they're on a beach, Coconut Water builds them back up, albeit poorly, before trying again. However, it's once again a failure, putting the two of them up for elimination.
In "Build a Sandcastle!", Sandcastle not only got eliminated, but also became the host for the episode's challenge, which is to build a tall sandcastle. After the timer runs out, Sandcastle starts judging each sandcastle, mostly giving a thumbs up to signify that the contestant is safe. They also eat a hot dog through out the judging process.
In "See Shells on the Seashore!", Sandcastle is playing with a shell. Pearl gives them a slip from the Box of Paper Slips, paying them for the shell.
In "Take the Best Pictures", Sandcastle is sitting with Diving Board at Watermelon Slice's Bar, watching the elimination on their phone. Later, Pearl comes up and knocks their Bubbly Pop over, once again giving them a slip from the Box of Paper Slips to use their phone for the challenge. Although not pleased, Sandcastle obliges.

Trivia[]
- Sandcastle is the 2nd BFDI Mini character (and character in general) whose name begins with the prefix "sand-". The first being Sandwichy.
- Sandcastle is also the 3rd BFDI Mini character to lack legs but have arms, the first being Tent and second being Mocha, and fourth overall, thanks to Stapy.
- Sandcastle is one of two contestants to have had their designs altered before competing in BFDI Mini Resort, the other is Palmy.
- Their recommender also recommended Anchor and Salt Lamp.
- Sandcastle is the only one of these three to be a BFDI Mini contestant.
