The School Planner is a series of small comics created by Cary Huang from September 2008 as part of a digital school planner. The comics are similar to those from Firey in format, but the drawing medium is not paper-and-pencil, but instead digital artwork, presumably made in Adobe Animate.

The series was released on August 14, 2020 alongside the video "We Discovered Our Forgotten "Firey" Comics" in a Google Drive containing high quality scans of the comics featured, despite there not being a mention of these comics in the video.

Coverage

Comic 1

Firey is seen standing in a grassy field about to eat an apple. Coiny pops in and shouts at Firey to not eat the apple. Firey asks Coiny why he shouldn't, with Coiny replying that it's "poisonous". Firey says "Okay." and walks away, dropping the apple. Coiny then sits down and eats the apple that Firey dropped.

Comic 2

This comic is a partial remake of Firey #1. Match tells Firey to get out of the tree. Firey does so, and Match points out that two of the trees are on fire. Firey then points out that there are actually three trees that are on fire.

Comic 3

This comic is a continuation of the previous comic, and is also a partial remake of Firey #1. Match is seen scolding Firey for burning 90% of the forest. Firey then reveals that Spongy was the one causing the forest fires, with a campfire being the cause.

Comic 4

This comic is a continuation of the previous comic, and is also a partial remake of Firey #1. Match is seen scolding Spongy rather than Firey, with her asking him not to do it ever again. Spongy then says he did it because he was cold.

Comic 5

This comic is a continuation of the previous comic, but unlike the previous few comics, is not a remake of a part of Firey #1. Match is seen still upset with Spongy, remarking that if he was so cold, he could have used a heater, which she brings over. Match also cites the heater to not cause any problems, but once she turns on the heater, Bubble is seen indoors, with her electric having been shut off, implying that the heater caused her presumed house to have an electrical outage.

Comic 6

This comic is a partial remake of Firey #2's "When it's..." page. When it's hot, Tennis Ball and Bubble are seen huddling around Ice Cube, with Match barely visible, saying that it's hot. When it's cold, Pencil and Coiny are seen in a snowy field huddling around Firey for warmth, with Firey saying "Uhh...". When it's wet, Spongy is seen sitting on a large puddle, asking what he is doing here. Blocky is seen in the distance calling Spongy gross.

Comic 7

This comic is the first part of the "WHY SOME GAMES ARE BAD!!!!!!" series, with the focus being Tag. Snowball is seen playing Tag with Coiny, with Coiny approaching a cliff. Snowball does not seem to notice or care. When Coiny reaches the very end, Snowball touches him, causing Coiny to fall off the cliff and scream.

Comic 8

This comic is the second part of the WHY SOME GAMES ARE BAD!!!!!!" series, with the focus being Jump Rope. Pencil is seen playing Jump Rope, with Bubble and Match holding and moving the rope. Pencil says she wants to go faster. Bubble asks Pencil if she's sure, with her saying she is. Afterwards, Match and Bubble are seen turning the rope very fast, with Pencil making sounds of pain and asking to stop.

Comic 9

This comic is the third part of the "WHY SOME GAMES ARE BAD!!!!!!" series, with the focus being Limbo. Eraser is seen doing Limbo, with the upper half of his body deforming to pass through. Rocky is seen cheering Eraser, with Teardrop smiling contently. Woody is then seen on a slide, and later crashes into the limbo pole.

Comic 10

This comic is the fourth and final part of the "WHY SOME GAMES ARE BAD!!!!!!" series, with the focus being Board Games. Tennis Ball is seen talking to an unseen character, with Tennis Ball recalling that he gave Rocky a board game for Christmas. Tennis Ball says that Rocky never plays with it, because Rocky was insulted by it because he thought it was a "bored" game, mishearing the name of the game.

Comic 11

This comic is a chart of several objects and how they smell, to create a "Smelliness" chart, with the left side being labeled "Mmm!", and the right side being labeled "P-U!" The rankings are:

• Shampoo: -5
• Fresh Air: -1
• Sneaker: 4
• Poop: 7
• Spongy: 10

Spongy is offended by his placement on the chart and says "Hey!".

Comic 12

This comic is another chart, this time ranking the IQ of several things. The rankings of them, from least to most, is:

• Rocky: 92
• Firey: 118
• Pencil: 130
• Match: 145
• Their Computer: 189

Spongy is offended once again by his low ranking on a chart, and says "Hey!" as a response again.

Comic 13

After being berated in the previous 2 comics, Spongy is upset by it greatly. Spongy tries to come up with a positive quality about himself on the spot, with him coming up that he is "more soakier".

Comic 14

This is the final comic of the planner. A list of words starting with "S" is seen. The list is as follows:

It is then revealed that it was Coiny reviewing the words to prove to Spongy that "soakier" is not a word. Spongy is angered by this.

Trivia

• Ice Cube, Eraser, and Woody do not speak in their appearances.
• Despite being created around this time, Flower and Golf Ball are absent.
