I throw spike balls uncontrollably!

— Spike Ball Speaker Box, "Hurtful!"

Spike Ball Speaker Box is a character that appeared in "Hurtful!" when Announcer was recovered. They apparently cannot control the fact that they spew spike balls everywhere. They may be the youngest speaker box since they are shorter and have a higher-pitched voice than the other speaker boxes.

Coverage

They first appeared in "Hurtful!" explaining that they throw spike balls uncontrollably in a very light and shrill voice. Spike Ball Speaker Box throws 3 spike balls at Spongy and the Announcer.

In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 2", when a bug starts crawling on Flower, they throw a spike ball at it, killing it in the process.

In "Return of the Hang Glider", Snowball notices the other announcers inside the Announcer Transportation Device and points them out to the others. Spike Ball Speaker Box then throws a spike ball out the glass which then goes inside Rocky's mouth and destroys his Infinite Matter Generator thus making him unable to barf. Spike Ball Speaker Box then comes out of the wrecked Announcer Transportation Device. Along with the other speaker boxes, they are glad that the Announcer managed to recover the funds that they lost during the campaign, but Teardrop Speaker Box explains that it's proven unsuccessful and tells the Announcer that it's time to go home. Spike Ball Speaker Box, Announcer, and the other speaker boxes then go inside the Announcer Transportation Device which then rebuilds itself and flies away.
