"Take the Plunge" is the 1st episode of Battle for Dream Island.
It is the first-ever episode of the series. In it, the battle for Dream Island officially starts; two contests are held and the contestants are split into two teams.
It is divided into two different parts, both released on January 1, 2010. The most likely reason for this is that YouTube did not allow uploads longer than ten minutes at the time. These parts are:
- "Take the Plunge: Part 1" (BFDI 1a)
- "Take the Plunge: Part 2" (BFDI 1b)
