"Take the Plunge" is the 1st episode of Battle for Dream Island.
It is the first-ever episode of the series. In it, the battle for Dream Island officially starts; two contests are held and the contestants are split into two teams.
It is divided into two different parts, both released on January 1, 2010. This is probably because at the time, YouTube videos can't be longer than 11 minutes. These parts are:
- "Take the Plunge: Part 1" (BFDI 1a)
- "Take the Plunge: Part 2" (BFDI 1b)
