Not to be confused with Teardrop's cousins

A Teardrop family reunion is a gag event that happened four times, once in BFDI 3, once in BFDIA 8, once in TPOT 4 and once in BFDIA 14. It happens when it rains, causing multiple raindrops that are (presumably) Teardrop's family to come down during the rain. Whether it's actually Teardrop's family that comes from the rain or if it's just a joke, these events are still unclear. Teardrop's cousins also appeared in BFDIA 14.

In "Are You Smarter Than a Snowball?", when it starts to rain, Pin yells out that it's raining, and Firey says that it's a "Teardrop family reunion" and runs. He then hides in his rain-free shelter due to flames being extinguished when rained on. The tests, which happened to be on fire, get put out by the rain.
In "Meaty", while Teardrop doesn't physically appear, a recommended character appearing as a horde of Teardrops named "Teardrop Family Reunion" does appear, and each of the Teardrops get individually splatted in the face by Ruby.
In "PointyPointyPointy🎵", Teardrop's real family (her cousins) appear officially. They appear on her island, annoyed by all of the chatterboxes on it. The challenge of Teardrop's island is to shut up the recommended characters to satisfy Teardrop's cousins. The only ones with names revealed are Honeydrop, Coffeedrop and Milkdrop.
In "Gardening Zero", Teardrop gets teleported to the real world and falls onto a window as it's raining. She slides down the window to meet one of her family members in a family reunion, as pointed out by the on-screen text as it happens.
Trivia[]
- Whenever the family reunion is mentioned outside of BFDIA, there have only been raindrops and not actual teardrops like Teardrop.
- Cary mentions a "Teardrop family reunion" during the credits of SOS (Save Our Show).
