The album was released alongside with the release of the Battle for BFDI (Original Soundtrack) album. It was announced by Elias A. "coal bones" on Twitter with the caption "oh hey me too", follow by the Spotify link on the next tweet.[1][2] This marks the second official soundtrack album release on the Battle for Dream Island series.
