Confirmed events between BFDIA 9 and IDFB 1

• Bomby is sus
• The remaining contestants return to Yoyl City.
  • Bubble makes her way back to Yoyle City and reunites with FreeSmart.
• Bubble and Firey are no longer made of Yoyle Metal.
  • In contrast, Leafy becomes made of Yoyle Metal again.
• Woody and Leafy are recovered (Leafy is recovered by Firey, revealed in "The Four is Lava").
• 8-Ball, Bell, Cloudy, Grassy, Nonexisty and Lightning have returned to the TLC.
• Golf Ball is no longer glued to a tree.
• Gelatin no longer wears the Revolutionary Headphones.
• Coiny is no longer inside the cash register in space.
• Golf Ball's Underground Factory, Gelatin's Shadehouse, W.O.A.H Bunch's Island, and the Eiffel Tower are no longer covered in paint.
• W.O.A.H. Bunch and Team No-Name set aside their differences and become acquaintances.
• Four compiles all of the episodes from the first two seasons to make A BFDI.
• The Firey disappeared, which very likely happened already in BFDIA 8 (he later reappears and is chopped up into pieces in "Questions Answered")

• Pencil falls off the Yoyle Needy at least once.
• FreeSmart records audio-only video diaries (due to Ruby never removing the lens cap, until Pencil finally removes the lens cap in "Welcome Back") every day, with the expectation that the viewers were watching them the whole time.
• Multiple contestants, including Book, put Firey in a cage hanging from the Yoyle Needy (most likely for recovering Leafy).
• Pin loses her color, as the red pigment in her body was extracted and restructured into new limbs by Golf Ball.
• Gelatin's shadeshouse becomes a steakhouse again.
• Barbecue Sauce gets permanently killed between the events of Meaty and Outbreak At Stake, his death likely relating to Gelatin himself.
• Evil Leafy returns.
• IDFB 1 begins on September 1, 2016.

Trivia

• This episode will be the first BFDI episode of 2024.
  • It will also be the first episode released in a year with the number "4" in it, as no episodes released in 2014.
• Upon this episode's release, BFDIA will become the fourth season to reach 9 episodes.

Elimination Hypotheticals

• If Yellow Face, Nickel, Coiny, Spongy or Bomby are eliminated, it will be the third time in a row a male is eliminated. If one counts TPOT, then it will be the fifth time in a row, and there would be 7 male contestants eliminated.
• If Yellow Face, Nickel, or Bomby gets eliminated, it will likely mark their first elimination in the series overall in terms of release date order, not counting them quitting BFB to join TPOT in "The Escape from Four".
• If Yellow Face is eliminated, this would make Book the last contestant to not get enough votes but able to compete because of contestants not present in Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know.
• If Coiny gets eliminated, it will mark his second elimination in the series in chronological order, considering his first elimination was in "A Leg Up in the Race".
