BFDIA 8 is the upcoming 8th episode of Battle for Dream Island Again, the 33rd episode in in-universe order, the 72nd episode by release date, and the 73rd episode of the overall series. Its release date is unknown, but will likely happen within 2023, and in November. Not much is known about it other than the fact that a member of FreeSmart will be eliminated. This will be the second time an eliminated contestant will be sent to the Weak Trembling Fortress.

Trivia

General

• This will likely be the first BFDIA episode after the 10-year hiatus to not be produced at Jacknjellify's Water Garden offices and to instead be produced remotely. This will be because Jacknjellify vacated their Summer 2023 office space at Water Garden in Santa Monica on September 30, 2023, a day before "Intruder Alert" was released.
• This episode will likely be the first BFDIA episode since "It's a Monster" to not be released on the 1st.
• In terms of release date order, this episode will most likely be the first episode in which new recommended characters make an appearance since "The Great Goikian Bake-Of
• Cary had Adobe Animate and Audacity open in his latest video so probably he's working on BFDIA 8.[1]

Elimination Hypotheticals

• If Firey is eliminated, there will be no original BFDI finalists left in the competition (as Leafy and Bubble weren't present in "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know" and did not make it into the season).
  • If he is eliminated and doesn't rejoin, then BFDIA would be the first season ever where Coiny's placement surpasses Firey's.
  • If he is eliminated, it will mark Firey's second elimination in terms of release date order, since his first elimination happened in the BFB episode "The Tweested Temple".
• If Ice Cube or Book are eliminated, this would make one of them the fourth BFDIA contestant who are currently competing in TPOT to be eliminated after Donut, Teardrop and Puffball.
  • If Ice Cube or Gelatin is out, there will be only one transparent/translucent character left in the competition.
• If Book or Ice Cube is eliminated, they would be the third Bleh member to be eliminated.
• If Pencil is eliminated, there won't be any more original members of Pencil's Alliance left.
  • If she is original, then Ruby would be the only one left.
• If Firey wins the prize, it will be his second consecutive prize.
• Additionally, if Firey also gets eliminated this would be the second time a contestant has won the prize and get eliminated after Teardrop.
• If Gelatin gets eliminated, it would be his first elimination ever in the series, since he was never voted off despite losing to Flower in the finale of BFB.

Confirmed events between BFDIA 7 and IDFB 1

• Bubble eventually makes her way back to Yoyle City and FreeSmart.
• Bubble is no longer made of Yoyle Metal.
• All of W.O.A.H. Bunch, including Woody and Leafy, are recovered.
• 8-Ball, Bell, Cloudy, Grassy, and Lightning have returned to the TLC (Though they likely already have).
• Golf Ball is no longer glued to a tree.
• Gelatin does not wear the Revolutionary Headphones anymore.
• W.O.A.H. Bunch and Team No-Name set aside their differences and become acquaintances.
• Four compiles all of the episodes from the first two seasons to make A BFDI.
• The Firey Speaker Box disappears (he later reappears and is chopped up into pieces in "Questions Answered")
• Rocky regains his excessive vomiting.
• Rocky leaves the WTF.
• Leafy becomes made of Yoyle Metal again.
• All but one of Fries' fries rot away, get ignited by Firey, or get eaten by Gelatin.
• Tennis Ball invents Grotatoes for Fries to use to replace his fries due to Yoyle City not being sunny enough for normal potatoes to grow.
• The LOL, containing the TLC, was transported to the outskirts of Yoyle City.
• Pencil falls off the Yoyle Needy at least once.
• FreeSmart records audio-only video diaries (due to Ruby never removing the lens cap) every day, with the expectation that the viewers were watching them the whole time.
• Ruby steals the BFDIA 6 voting results.
• Multiple contestants, including Book, put Firey in a cage hanging from the Yoyle Needy.
• Flower reaches Yoyle City.
• Pin's red pigment was extracted and restructured into new limbs by Golf Ball.
