The Opening[]
The episode starts in the hotel where the exitors are shown briefly, who are still trying to escape the kitchen lobby where they were sent to the previous episode. The scene shifts to Tree with Marker and Fanny, who are still attempting to cut Tree down. Once he is almost cut down, Marker tells him they're nearly there and holds him up. Suddenly, Black Hole arrives and warns Marker to let go of Tree just as he's about to fall, however, it is too late. Tree drops and perishes, causing a speedboat to veer wildly in the opposite direction. The aforementioned speedboat crashes into Bottle, shattering her on impact. The shards of Bottle send Needle tumbling down a hill, striking Golf Ball. Needle flies through the air and inadvertently impales Basketball. As Basketball recoils in pain, she stumbles backward, accidentally toppling TV's screen, which catches fire and sets off Bomby's fuse. Bomby explodes, hurling Book and Price Tag through the air, where they land safely on Bell's string. Book breathes a sigh of relief, thankful to be unharmed, and questions what's happening on Bell's string. Despite Bell's frustration and attempts to shake them off, Price Tag remarks sarcastically that they can't hear her demands, adding that they're climbing too fast.
Eventually, Book and Price Tag reach the top, and discover a new location called "Band Land." Price Tag is fascinated and remarks that they can't believe Band Land has been there all this time. Just then, Two appears and announces the next Cake at Stake.
Cake at Stake[]
After Two recovers everyone, they move on to the elimination ceremony. Just Not is up first. Two announces that today's cake is an exciting zoom down Bell's string. Book worries that Price Tag might miss out, but Two assures her that both she and Price Tag are safe, with 18,526 and 17,673 votes respectively. They leave via Bell's string, leaving Bomby and Pillow in the bottom two. Two comments on Just Not's losing streak, and Bomby blames Pillow for it. Two reveals that Pillow is safe with 10,157 votes, and Bomby is eliminated with 7,769 votes. Pillow leaves, and Two moves on to The Strongest Team on Earth, where Grassy, Snowball, and Basketball are revealed to be safe with 10,493, 8,994 and 8,476 votes respectively. They all leave through Bell's string, with Grassy greeting a grumpy Bell at the bottom while Basketball quickly climbs up a tree.
The bottom two are now Bell and Robot Flower. Two pulls on Bell's string, drawing her towards them whilst commenting that her string goes on forever. Bell snaps that it's none of their business and tells them to let her back down, and Two dismisses her before displaying the votes. It is revealed that Robot Flower survives with 4,219 votes whilst Bell is eliminated with 4,106 votes, much to Bell's frustration. Bell reminds everyone that she was the one who prevented Robot Flower's destruction plan, but Robot Flower shushes her and slides down the string before falling off. Bell sighs and says that it isn't fair, and Two apologises.
Before the Contest[]
Basketball watches Robot Flower fall from afar, contemplating how she can reach her reset switch. Meanwhile, Book and Price Tag approach Two, asking to give Bomby a farewell before he leaves, but they realize both Bomby and Bell are missing. They ask Two where they've gone, and Two admits they don't know and calls out their names. Meanwhile, Bomby and Bell are huddled together behind a bush, confronted by One. Bell asks who she is, and One suggests they get to know each other before teleporting the three of them elsewhere. Unbeknownst to One, Basketball saw everything and was confused about what she had just witnessed. Concurrently, Book insists that Two should go find Bomby. Two agrees that their disappearance is odd, but hopes they'll turn up eventually.
Two announces a team swap, and leaves it to the contestants to pick their teams. As Two turns around and closes their eyes, One sneaks in and rearranges the contestants randomly. Afterwards, Pen realizes that he's separated from Eraser and gets upset, prompting Two to turn back and assume that the new teams are made. They declare that the new teams are locked in, much to Golf Ball's annoyance, as she notices that Tennis Ball was put on a different team. Robot Flower, who is on a team of her own, requests that she gets six lives to make up for it, and Two just pushes her to the side. Robot Flower states the show has become 98% less beautiful and demands for special treatment, unless if Two wants to be crushed. Pen turns to Eraser, asking him what they're gonna do. Eraser reassures him that they'll get through this, whilst also telling him not to get out. He turns to Snowball and leans on him, greeting him, and Snowball greets him back, along with Grassy.

Book comments that this is a strong team, with Snowball not including Ice Cube by throwing her to the floor. With Teardrop eliminated, Eraser is without a rival, so he looks for a new one, aiming for someone weak. He asks Ice Cube if she wants to be his new rival, but she declines. Snowball advises him not to choose someone from their own team and redirects him to another team. Eraser spots Bottle from a distance and chooses her as his new rival.
Price Tag turns to Book, questioning her past with Ice Cube. Book shushes them and tells them to shut it, and Price Tag remarks that she's being much louder than they were. Book awkwardly approaches Ice Cube and asks her how she is, and Ice Cube turns to Eraser, Snowball and Grassy, greeting them.
Meanwhile, Tree is pleased to be staying with Fanny, Black Hole, and Marker, with Marker adding that they have new allies, Pin and Gaty, to join them in preventing death. Tree suggests their team could benefit from better management, prompting Pin to volunteer as the team leader, a suggestion met with unanimous agreement.
Subsequently, Pen feels saddened by his separation from Eraser, while TV reassures him, adding that both he and Tennis Ball are there to support him. Pen notices Tennis Ball seems stressed and asks what's troubling him. TV explains that this is the first time he's been apart from Golf Ball, trying to calm Tennis Ball down. Pressured, Tennis Ball wonders if this means he needs to take on a leadership role in her absence. Pen encourages Tennis Ball, noting their teammates' strengths: Bottle's silliness, Basketball's inventiveness and his own physical capabilities. Needle overhears this and suddenly throws Basketball towards Golf Ball. Pen then tosses Basketball towards Tennis Ball, sending her flying into Band Land. Basketball ricochets off a hill, knocking over a piano, before landing back down, where Pen catches her safely. Pen remarks to Needle that that was the easiest thing he's ever done, sparking a rivalry between them.
Basketball approaches TV and Tennis Ball, sharing that she spotted Bomby and Bell. However, TV avoids interacting with her, as he was too scared to be around her after what happened with Robot Flower. Understanding his reluctance, Basketball then mentions seeing One, but Tennis Ball interrupts and goes on to talk about TV's perception of zeros and ones. Basketball gets frustrated at the misunderstanding. Meanwhile, Bottle chimes in cheerfully about her presence, while Eraser from a distance vows to take her down.
Golf Ball advises Tennis Ball to stay in the game for as long as possible, assuring him they'll regroup in the next team phase if they both survive long enough. Turning to her new team, Golf Ball declares she'll lead them to victory. However, Donut, Barf Bag, and Winner step back in response. Noticing their hesitation, she corrects herself, stating they'll be equals instead, which brings them back. She adds that they'll still follow her commands, causing them to back again. She suggests they'll make decisions collectively, which draws them again. She asserts that decisions will be made after intense consideration from her alone, causing them to pull away once more, to her frustration. Barf Bag suggests that Donut be their new leader instead, adding that he would do an amazing job at it. Winner says that whilst they don't really know Barf Bag and Donut, they trust them over Bossy Ball (Golf Ball). Donut turns to Pillow, asking if she's okay with that, and Pillow says it sounds good, as she would love to study a team with bad leadership. Yellow Face comments that this is the best team ever and cheers.
Two asks each team for their team names. Team 1 huddles briefly and settles on "Death P.A.C.T Yet Again". Moving to the next group, Two suggests the name Team 2, which Price Tag initially criticizes but retracts their statement to say it's great after seeing Two's saddened face. Tennis Ball defers to TV, who chooses . Moving to the fourth and final team, Golf Ball refuses to choose, out of fear that she might accidentally name their team something stupid again. Barf Bag asks Two to decide instead, and they settle on "Cloudy", which Yellow Face cheers into "CloudYAY". Two reviews the team names once more before starting the intro.
Contest[]
Two announces the next challenge: teams must fill their respective holes with as many items they can find. Four and X confirm the pits are extra deep by dropping X into one. Two instructs teams to fill the pits with anything they can find—alive, dead, natural, manmade, even X. They promise an unspecified prize for the team with the most filled area, while the two teams with the least will face elimination. Teams have 3 minutes, with time running out when the sand in the hourglass runs down. Before starting, Two asks if there are any questions. Golf Ball steps forward to ask, but her team backs away, frustrating Golf Ball. As she is about to finish her question, Two backs away as well, leading Golf Ball to wonder if she is the problem.
The contest begins, and Pin directs Black Hole and Marker to find something substantial to throw into their pit. Black Hole suggests throwing in the hotel, but Two intervenes and tells him not to. Marker assures them that they'll find an alternative before leaving with Black Hole. Pin then strategizes with Tree and Fanny to sabotage other teams as an attempt to hinder their chances of winning, and boost their own. Gaty asks Pin what she should do, and Pin instructs her to discover the details of the secret prize from Two. The team disperses to execute their plans. As Fanny dashes off, One unexpectedly seizes her from behind a bush, catching Basketball's attention. Basketball rushes over to investigate, but by the time she reaches the bush, One and Fanny have vanished. Basketball expresses frustration at being too late.
On Team 2, Snowball expresses interest in Four's suggestion of throwing X down the pit and proposes that they the same but with Ice Cube. Book and Price Tag urge him to put her down, but before they can intervene, Pin lunges at Snowball with her point, causing him to drop Ice Cube, who is then launched into the air. Ice Cube eventually lands on the ground and slides across the grass before encountering Pillow in her path. Ice Cube warns Pillow to move, but Pillow simply settles on top of her and they glide away together. Pin sarcastically remarks "whoops" before darting off, with Snowball criticizing Pin as useless. Price Tag emphasizes the need to retrieve Ice Cube quickly to avoid being outnumbered. Snowball hesitates, but decides to go get her after encouragement from Grassy. He puts Eraser in charge of the pit before leaving, who quickly gets bored and starts contemplating on how to sabotage Bottle.
Meanwhile, with CloudYAY, Golf Ball notes that Yellow Face has a variety of products they could use to fill their pit but realizes no one else is present. She asks Yellow Face where the rest of her team is, who shrugs cluelessly before briefly impersonating Tennis Ball. Golf Ball insists he drop the act and sets off to locate everyone else, confident she has a viable plan. Meanwhile, Winner alerts the team about the dwindling sand in the hourglass, urging them to brainstorm fast. Gaty notices Two and quickly pulls them aside, engaging them in conversation about the new-found team phases. Back to CloudYAY, Barf Bag turns to Donut for ideas, feeling the pressure of the time running out. Seizing the moment while Two is distracted, Donut hurriedly flips the hourglass upside down, resetting the timer. Barf Bag and Winner praise Donut for his quick thinking and initiative. Golf Ball reminds them that their pit is still empty, before concluding that they were of no help. She approaches Yellow Face and a portal opens, which she steps inside. She grabs as many products as she can.
Subsequently, with , Needle cautions Bottle to step away from the hole to avoid falling in. However, before Bottle can react, Tree pushes her into the pit. Eraser steps in, claiming that sabotaging her was his responsibility, but Tree ignores him and throws Eraser into the pit as well. Just as Tree is about to leave, Needle pours glue on TV and attaches Tree to him, much to Tree's annoyance. Despite this, Tree remains confident that Black Hole and Marker will gather enough items for their hole, believing the mystery prize is as good as theirs. Meanwhile, notice Black Hole and Marker flying away, prompting Tennis Ball to urge someone to pursue them. Pen and Needle both volunteer and the two leave. Tennis Ball remarks to TV that being covered in glue might be beneficial for trapping others.
Concurrently, Basketball is still confused by Fanny's sudden disappearance and wonders what's happening. Suddenly, Pin picks up Basketball and instructs her to stay out of the way since Fanny is her teammate, not Basketball's. Despite Basketball's objections, Pin tosses her aside, and Basketball inconveniently lands on TV. This surprise causes TV to realize that one of his teammates is now stuck to him, and Tennis Ball starts to panic.
Elsewhere, Pillow is casually sitting on top of Ice Cube as they continue to glide away. Ice Cube pleads someone to help, until their glide eventually stops at the presence of the moon, which remains broken from several episodes ago. Ice Cube sighs in relief, expressing disbelief that their journey has finally ended. Pillow then lifts Ice Cube, much to Ice Cube's confusion, before unexpectedly throwing her into the moon. Pillow apologizes, noting it was a personal matter, and walks away. Shortly after, Pillow encounters Price Tag and informs them that Ice Cube is now in the moon.
In an undefined location, One is with Fanny, with the latter appearing to have a worried look on her face. One tells Fanny not to worry, adding that she's been watching her for a while. One tells her she think they can help each other out, but Fanny faces the other way and refuses to listen. One decides to bribe her with a new mouth, intriguing Fanny, but One refuses to give it to her unless Fanny does an unspecified favour for her. Fanny hesitates at first but eventually agrees, and she signs a contract before being given the new mouth. Once this is done, Fanny informs One that she hates her deals before telling her to go away, and she does. Fanny reappears at the grasslands and she runs off.
In the moon, One suddenly appears next to Ice Cube, who lets out a scream. One instructs her to quiet down before proposing a deal. Meanwhile, back with CloudYAY, Barf Bag observes the time ticking away, prompting Donut to swiftly flip the hourglass, much to Barf Bag's relief. Pillow returns, declaring her readiness to assist before collapsing onto the floor. In the forest, Black Hole and Marker continue their search for items for the pit, while Pen and Needle follow closely behind them. Pen urges Needle to leave him alone and flings mud at her, much to Needle's annoyance. Needle catches up to Pen and trips him before spotting a massive tree which she upends, landing it on Pen. She remarks on the tree's size, deeming it perfect for their pit. Pen pushes the tree off himself, insisting he'll take it back for their team. Needle retaliates by hurling it back, declaring she'll handle it instead. Pen pushes it back again, telling her to stop, and they go back and fourth for a bit. Meanwhile, Black Hole and Marker contemplate on what to take for their stack, but struggle to pick something decent. After many considerations, Black Hole reminds Marker that their time to do the challenge is limited, and insists that they must take the next thing they see.
Back in the moon, Team 2 approaches Ice Cube and notices she has acquired a new set of legs. Book asks how she got them, and Ice Cube is about to explain before getting interrupted by Grassy, who draws attention to a shiny rock nearby. Price Tag compliments his find, suggesting the rock could be valuable and perfect for their pit. They propose extracting more rocks from the moon and tossing them into the pit, and they proceed to do so.
Eraser and Bottle descend into the pit, cushioned by X, who greets the two. Bottle asks for a lift to assist her team. X cheerfully agrees, inviting her to hop on. As they ascend, Eraser joins them and jumps on X's head, causing them to dip down. Bottle laughs and follows suit, hopping one by one.
In Yellow Face's ad dimension, Golf Ball gathers various items for the pit, finding them useful. Upon retrieving them, Yellow Face tells her that she now owes him 421,214,683 dollars. Suddenly, Fanny swoops in, sarcastically thanking them as she grabs their stash before departing. Golf Ball is irritated by this and informs Yellow Face she's going back in. Yellow Face agrees, excited about the additional potential earnings, and opens the portal back to the ad dimension.
Meanwhile, in Davidland, Black Hole and Marker find themselves faced with a bunch of Davids. Initially hesitant, Black Hole recalls their commitment to grab whatever they encounter next, so they seize a David, who exclaims, "Aw, seriously?" The force of his exclamation knocks Marker off balance, and Black Hole assures him they'll rescue him before departing with the David in tow.
Back in the forest, Needle and Pen continue their back-and-forth with the tree until Marker intervenes, instructing them to stop. Meanwhile, at the grasslands, Basketball recounts the incident of Fanny's disappearance to Tree. However, Tree disputes her claim, having seen Fanny carrying items for their pit from a distance. Basketball is perplexed and attempts to approach Fanny to hear her side of the story, but her efforts are hindered by being glued to TV. Tennis Ball intervenes, applying glue to his own foot to stay connected to TV, emphasizing that their team needs to stick together and that they also need to stay close to their pit. Basketball vents her frustration, declaring it the worst day ever.
In the forest, Black Hole continues to search for Marker while holding onto David. Suddenly, Marker calls out for help from below as Needle and Pen are still tossing the tree around. Black Hole attempts to provoke David, whose loud protests cause a wave that throw all of them in the opposite direction. Luckily, Black Hole manages to catch them all. Marker expresses gratitude to Black Hole for saving him, but Black Hole cautions him to keep quiet because of David.
Meanwhile, back with Two and Gaty's conversation, Two remarks that these three minutes feel like an eternity. Pin intervenes, asking Gaty for updates, reminding Gaty to inquire about the secret prize. Gaty questions Two about the prize in question, and Two clarifies that it's not secret, just special, before revealing that the prize is having Robot Flower join their team. Pin and Gaty react with surprise, and Pin worries about potentially losing her leadership position. Gaty reassures her, suggesting they aim to come second instead. Pin agrees with the strategy, and they decide to continue sabotaging the other teams. Before the two leave, Gaty assures Two they'll talk later. Suddenly, Four appears beside Two, who greets him warmly. Two asks if he wants to chat, and as Four takes out his right eye and holds it like a crystal ball, Two remarks about feeling watched. As Two continues talking, they inquire if Four is listening, but Four admits he isn't before taking the sofa. Two informs him that they were using it, but Four leaves anyway, leaving Two alone.
Back on the moon, Team 2 continues smashing rocks, causing the moon to shift significantly. Price Tag asks if they should use pieces of the moon or the entire moon for the pit. Snowball agrees with Price Tag and instructs everyone to push. He wonders if a running start would help, so he attempts it but slips, crashing into Ice Cube and sending her spinning around the moon. This movement propels the moon forward rapidly. Book praises Ice Cube for her unintentional help, but the moon starts moving too quickly.
Meanwhile, Eraser and Bottle are still double bouncing. Bottle compliments Eraser's bouncing and suggests they use it to jump higher, which propels them out of the pit. In mid-air, Bottle calls Eraser a fun friend, annoying him as that wasn't his goal. He throws Bottle away and Eraser lands on TV, who is still glued to Tree, Basketball, and Tennis Ball. Tree desperately tries to free himself but fails.
Back in the pit, X decides to make one last attempt to fly up and declares their intention to return to the top.
Tennis Ball firmly tells Tree that he's not going anywhere, and Basketball declares that she is determined to get free. The three of them continue to struggle, with Tennis Ball urging them to stop their antics. Meanwhile, in the ad dimension, Golf Ball returns with two stacks of items instead of one to prevent Fanny from running off with them. Just as she brings the items back to the real world, Pin and Gaty swoop in and snatch the stash, leaving Golf Ball frustrated and exasperated.
Golf Ball grabs Winner and pulls them aside, pleading for their help in reclaiming the stash from the "pesky" Death P.A.C.T Yet Againers. She heads back into the ad dimension while Winner reluctantly agrees to assist.
Winner approaches Death P.A.C.T Yet Again, who are busy tossing items into their pit, and asserts that the stash doesn't belong to them. Pin retorts that it's their pit, and Fanny sarcastically adds that Winner should get their own stolen stuff.
Suddenly, Black Hole arrives with Marker, Pen, Needle, and David. Needle demands that Black Hole put them down, provoking David. The sound waves cause Black Hole to drop everything. Amid the chaos, Bottle is launched into the sky, and Black Hole's gravity propels her even higher into the air.
Pen and Needle, still arguing over the tree, are interrupted by Marker, who tells them to stop fighting, adding that they could be unstoppable if they worked together. Pen and Needle, realizing the truth in Marker's words, agree and decide to carry the tree to their own pit together.
Meanwhile, Fanny scolds Marker for helping other teams, to which he apologizes for. Pin informs Black Hole that they managed to steal multiple items from Yellow Face to throw into their stash. Black Hole congratulates her, adding that he has a giant David they can add in as well. However, Pin shares that she and Gaty found out that the winning team gets Robot Flower, who would be extremely unbeneficial for their death-prevention-focused team. Black Hole agrees they should aim for second place, but is unsure which team to help win. Just then, Winner approaches them.
As Pen and Needle arrive with the tree, X slowly nears the top of the pit. On the count of three, Pen and Needle throw the tree into their pit, but it ricochets off X's body and falls into the next one. Needle gets mad at X for getting in their way whilst Pen confronts CloudYAY. He informs them that their pit has their tree and demands its return, but Pillow quickly tells him to shut up. As Barf Bag and Donut are watching the hourglass, Pen and Needle attack them, demanding the tree back. Barf Bag tries to defend herself, arguing that they don't have time for this as they need to watch the timer. Pillow considers watching the timer instead but decides against it.
As Pen and Needle fight Donut and Barf Bag for the tree, Needle notices the moon quickly approaching. The moon crushes them, killing all four of them on impact. Meanwhile, Book says they need to slow down the moon, and Price Tag tells her that they're going to be sick. Meanwhile, back with Winner, they negotiate with Black Hole to throw David into their pit, adding that it's only fair since DPYA stole all their stash. Just then, they notice the moon hurl in their direction. They about to get crushed, but are thankfully saved by David's soundwaves, putting the moon to a halt. In the moon, Grassy notices that they've stopped and Snowball ushers his team out, declaring themselves the strongest team ever.
Meanwhile, in Band Land, Bottle is lounging casually but quickly remembers the challenge and begins dragging a piano set. At the same time, Winner is still urging Black Hole to drop David into their pit, which he eventually does. Golf Ball returns for the third time with several items and places them on top of David, who becomes annoyed. She realizes the stash is much larger than anticipated, and Yellow Face points out that David is in the pit, warning her not to add anything else. David falls asleep, but just then, Bottle and the piano fall from the sky and land on David, waking him up angrily. The resulting sound waves push the moon from Team 2's pit into Death P.A.C.T Yet Again's, frustrating Snowball as their pit is now empty. He asks Eraser if he's found anything, and Grassy points out that Eraser is stuck to TV, along with Basketball, Tree and Tennis Ball.
Snowball attempts to throw all of them into the pit but gets stuck himself. Tennis Ball explains they've all been glued together, and now Snowball is too, so Snowball decides they all have to go in together. Tree tries to free himself and succeeds at the last second, but falls into the next pit. On his way down, he hits his head on the wall, causing it to collapse and merging the two pits into one. After this, David gets up to leave, and Golf Ball pleads with him to stay until the challenge ends. She complains about everyone constantly walking away from her, and just then, the timer runs out. Two breathes a sigh of relief, commenting that this has been the longest three minutes of their life before concluding the challenge.
Two examines the pits, commenting that all the teams did awful, but shrugs it off before proceeding to announce the results. Death P.A.C.T Yet Again places first, having the most items in their pit, and are rewarded with Robot Flower, much to Black Hole's annoyance. Team 2 secures second place with only corpses in their pit, whilst and CloudYAY lose the challenge as their now-merged pits are completely empty. They tie for fourth place, much to the frustration of Golf Ball and Yellow Face, and are put up for elimination.
After the Contest[]
Two is pleased that the team swap was successful and is about to go play with their A-twos-ment Park, when suddenly, the piano from earlier crashes through the hotel windows, releasing all the exitors that had been trying to escape since the beginning of the episode. Two sees this, and offers to repair the wall and put them back in the kitchen, but Match begs them not to, referring to the kitchen as a "prison." 8-Ball adds that they could see TPOT happening from inside and asks if they could join. Initially hesitant, Two remembers the time they allowed Teardrop to join when Profily asked, so they allow it. However, only one exitor would debut. The episode then cuts to all the exitors giving auditions, with each one explaining why they should be the one to join.
Stinger[]
One is taking a stroll in the forest as Basketball follows, who is questioning her intentions. One pulls out a list of names, with all of them being ticked off, before greeting Basketball and asking her to chat. Basketball tries to refuse, but One ignores her and teleports both of them elsewhere.

Trivia[]
Differences between the theater screening version and the release version.[]
- When One teleports Fanny with her, the theater version just shows the screen fading to black instead of having a zoomy transition.
- The "YAY" in CloudYAY had a unique sound in the theater version. This is replaced with a simpler, deeper noise in the final.
- One of Needle's lines is shortened in the YouTube version.
- Some of the background music was changed (e.g. Tid was used for when Book and Price Tag going to Two instead of Tucking).
- When Marker stops Pen and Needle from crushing each other with the tree, it cuts to the next scene instead of Needle crushing both Marker and Pen again.
General[]
- This episode and Inanimate Insanity II 15 were entirely leaked, causing a massive controversy.
- The thumbnail reads "HOT! HOT! HOT!", a line said by TV.
- This is the first episode to feature a contestant's name in the title while the contestant gets eliminated in said episode. In this case, it's Bell.
- This episode's thumbnail is a reference to Bomby's voting icon from "The Four is Lava".
- The music notes in spell the word “BAGGED”.
- They could be a transcription of Four's song.
- This is the first TPOT episode since BFDIA's return to not having a BFDIA episode released in between.
- The binary code TV is showing translates to “Hey there, I'm TV! If you're reading this then you're a pretty smart cookie.”[1]
- This episode is the first TPOT episode to have voting for a debut, and the third overall. The other episodes are "The Reveal" and "The Escape from Four".
- This is the first episode with a debut since "The Escape from Four".
- This episode marks the first time ever where Golf Ball and Tennis Ball are on separate teams.
- This is the third episode in TPOT where the eliminated contestants aren't teleported to the elimination area, with the other episodes being TPOT 8 (except for Rocky) and TPOT 9. The reason is because Bell and Bomby were taken by One.

- This episode marks the first time voters were allowed to vote on both teams up for elimination legitimately.

Elimination[]
Bomby's Elimination[]
- Bomby is the 3rd BFDIA debuter in a row (and 4th overall) to be eliminated in TPOT, following Fries in "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Puffball in "Outbreak At Stake" and Nickel in "Oneirophobe's Nightmare".
- He is also the fourth contestant to be eliminated prior to BFDIA, following Fries, Coiny, and Nickel. The latter third was also on the same team as Bomby.
- There are no more males in Just Not.
- Speaking of that, he is the 3rd male to be eliminated following Cake in "Balancing P.A.C.T." and Nickel in "Oneirophobe's Nightmare".
- Barf Bag and Donut are the only Team Ice Cube members left.
- Not only that, but he is the 2nd Team Ice Cube member to be eliminated after Naily.
- Book has now become the contestant to go the longest without getting eliminated with 80 episodes, as Bomby places 2nd.
Bell's Elimination[]
- Bell is the third limbless contestant to be eliminated in TPOT, following Cloudy in "Gardening Zero" and Puffball in "Outbreak At Stake".
- She is also the fourth Free Food member to be eliminated, following Foldy, Fries, and Puffball.
- This means Yellow Face, Marker, and Eraser are the only members left. Coincidentally, they are all males.
- She is the third female to be eliminated from The Strongest Team on Earth following Foldy in "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters" and Eggy in "The Great Goikan Bake-Off".
- This would mean that Basketball and Robot Flower are the only remaining females of the team.
- She is the last contestant to be eliminated before the Team Swap.
Continuity references[]
- Book's face in the thumbnail is drawn similarly to the assets used in pre-BFB seasons.
- The giant version of Tree perishing after being cut in half at the beginning of this episode mirrors Pencil being sawed in half in "The Long-lost Yoyle City".
- The death chain at the beginning is a similar to the beginning of "Don't Lose Your Marbles".
- Bell's sigh is a reference to her sigh face and line in “Getting Teardrop to Talk” Where she thinks Pin and Pillow are permanently dead before Four recovers them.
- This episode answers the question of what's connected to Bell's string, something that was hinted in previous episodes: a new music-themed location called Band Land.
- When Liy was using Pencil to hit the windows, Pencil makes the same face that Firey does in "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know" and Taco in "Getting Teardrop to Talk".
- The boat flying around at the start of the episode is the same one in "Take the Plunge: Part 2".
- Needle pierces Basketball in the same way she pierced Bell and Naily in "The Liar Ball You Don't Want".
- This episode addresses the cliffhanger of "Out Of The Blue".
- Match is seen sleeping at the start of the episode, a reference to her break time in "It's a Monster" and “Out Of The Blue”.
- Bomby saying "Oh no, TV! You lit my fuse!" is a reference to him saying "Oh no, Firey! You lit my fuse!" in the earlier seasons.
- Yellow Face's "YAY!" is recycled from "No More Snow!".
- Previous instances of Golf Ball and Tennis Ball sharing teams, and screenshots of such instances, are mentioned by TV.
- Pen saying "That was the easiest thing ever" is a reference to a similar line said by him in "Half a Loaf is Better Than None".
- Golf Ball telling Two not to let her pick is a reference to every previous team Golf Ball was on being named something unintended and stupid.
- Pencil's audition to join TPOT is her iconic "Yeah yeah yeah!" song from Barriers and Pitfalls, which was also used in her auditions for both "Gardening Hero" and "Enter the Exit".
- Pin telling Basketball that it was "time [for her] to go bye-bye" is a reference to a similar line she said to Fanny before removing her mouth in "Balancing P.A.C.T."
- Barf Bag's fight with Pen looks similar to the one she had with Lollipop in "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset". The style also resembles the early BFB style at first, evident by the eyes not being as rounded as usual.
- Also, when they (along with Donut and Needle) get crushed by the moon, the appearance of the aftermath follows a similar pattern to other group deaths seen in "Meaty" and "Oneirophobe's Nightmare".
- Eraser inhaling and sighing out of boredom after his team leaves is a reference to "Vomitaco".
- Match has dyed hair in her audition, a callback to "Gardening Hero".
- Golf Ball rushes through Yellow Face's ad dimension just like how Coiny and Ruby rushed through the pantry in "Taste the Sweetness".
- Bach's Prelude No. 1 in C, BWV 846 plays during the rejoining auditions as a reference to "Gardening Hero". The music also played on the voting screen in "Lots of Mud".
- David singing the TPOT intro in his audition references his ability to sing in a high-pitched tone, last seen 13 years ago in "Rescission".
- Tree says he's tired of being stuck to things, referencing his overgrown state in the canal from "Balancing P.A.C.T." up until this episode, and to a possible extent, being stuck in Bottle from "The Liar Ball You Don't Want" to "What Do You Think of Roleplay?".
- Black Hole and Marker go to some old places from previous episodes and seasons.
- Robot Flower says "I WILL CRUSH YOU", a reference to a line Flower said in "Cycle of Life".
- Some of the products in Yellow Face's piles are from previous seasons, such as grape powder from "Intruder Alert" and fake emeralds from "Don't Dig Straight Down".
- Match's audition to join TPOT is a reference to her rejoin audition in "Gardening Hero".
- A couple of the Exitor's "sticky note" voting icons seem to have taken inspiration from prior episodes;
- Pencil's pose seems to reference her BFB voting pose, as that one also has her smiling and winking with a small heart next to her.
- Her peace sign that she's holding up could also very well likely be a reference to Match's old BFB voting pose, as she held a similar type of peace sign.
- The smile that is shown on Stapy's sticky note is very similar to the "big smile" pose he did with Foldy after Liy's elimination in "Fortune Ben".
- Pencil's pose seems to reference her BFB voting pose, as that one also has her smiling and winking with a small heart next to her.
Cultural references[]
- The episode's description is a reference to the song PPAP by PIKOTARO. This was previously referenced by Cary during the credits of "Outbreak at Stake".
- The large piano in Band Land, large enough for people to play by stepping on it, resembles the Walking Piano from the 1988 film Big.
- Pin going "Oh! Oh! Oh!" and raising her hand in Tree's face might be a reference to Arnold Horshack from the 1970s TV show Welcome Back, Kotter.
- Fidget spinners are seen as one of the products in Yellow Face's piles.
- There also seems to be a product in the pile resembling Ring Pops.
- Tennis Ball, Tree, Basketball, Eraser, and Snowball being glued to TV is a reference to the Relationship Glue segment from The VeggieTales Show episode "Forgiveness Brings the Fixing", where Jimmy and Jerry Gourd, Archibald Asparagus, and Madame Blueberry end up being accidentally glued to each other due to the segment's eponymous product.
- The way One tempts Ice Cube to make a deal with them could allude to the game show Let's Make a Deal, hosted by Monty Hall.
- Needle and Pen being able to carry the tree may be a reference to The Garfield Movie, where Otto is also shown lifting a tree up from the ground.
- Dora says she'll explore many places if she rejoins, likely referencing the cartoon Dora the Explorer.
- When David is in his rejoin audition, he says "Aw" so fast that it starts to sound like the TPOT intro. This may also be a reference to extratone, a unique genre of music where the beats per minute are so fast it sounds like an instrument of its own in another tune.
Errors/Goofs[]
- Marker's whiteboard incorrectly denotes "9-6=13" when it should instead be "19-6=13", missing a 1.

- The last time this happened was with "Today's Very Special Episode".
- At 5:28, in the scene after Ice Cube gets slammed on the ground by Snowball, the shine on her asset moves from being in the normal location relative to her face, to the side currently facing upwards.
- At 20:48, the grape powder is reverted to its BFDIA asset.
- At 23:27, before Bottle and the piano land on the David, Golf Ball is missing a leg.
- At 11:46, Snowball is seen holding Ice Cube up in his left hand, but at the shot Pin is about to slam into Snowball, Snowball is now holding Ice Cube in his right hand, and very quickly shifts back to his left hand in the next shot.
- At 17:08, Yellow Face's asset can be seen to detatch from his body. It happens again at 17:20.
- In the last stash Golf Ball brings, the fake emeralds are only an outline that isn't filled in.
