— Zero, "Thanks for 2,763,000 Subscribers!"

Zero[2] is an algebralian and an integer in "Thanks for 2,763,000 Subscribers!". They are distinctly separate from the other Zeroes by their personality, and is made visually distinct with his cap.
In captions and storyboards, this Zero is specifically referred to as Zero1[3]. The credits simply refer to him as "Zero", using numbers to distinguish Zeroes 2 through 5.
Appearance[]
Zero, as the name suggests, is an Arabic numeral zero. They have a gray body and slightly lighter gray limbs. They wear a blue and yellow cap which reads "eiπ+1", a mathematical equation that results in 0 as the answer. This equation is known as Euler's identity.
Personality[]
Like the other zeros, Zero originally was simply in the background of the sub specials as a prop in the sub count.
In "Thanks for 1,500,000 Subscribers!", they make their speaking debut. Here and in "Thanks for 2,000,000 Subscribers!" they are shown to take an assertive role, such as telling the other numbers to instead write the sub-count from now on, and reminding them when it was not updated.
In "Thanks for 2,763,000 Subscribers!", Zero retains much of these traits, being seen taking control of all the other Zeroes, telling them what to do and berating them if they don't follow. They seem to bully the other Zeroes frequently. Despite this controlling attitude, they are easily embarrassed - when the other Zeroes watch their embarrassing tapes, Zero is barely able to fight back; it is only when they are forced inside of a fridge and their tapes stolen that they break out and take action by destroying the TV. He most likely picks on the other Zeroes due to him projecting his insecurities and embarrassment on them. Zero is also shown to have a silly side, with him dancing before Six appears in the vent.
Zero has a softer side, however, as he apologizes to one of the other Zeroes after accidentally throwing scalding coffee in their face, saying he would never hurt them on purpose (though he then accidentally smacks them in the face). This shows that Zero does not intentionally mistreat others, but does so out of obliviousness.
None of the other Algebralians seem to particularly enjoy the presence of Zero, as even Two Thousand, Seven Hundred, Sixty-Three rejects and belittles them.
Coverage[]

Zero's first possible appearance may be in "The Number Playground Chronicle!", but due to the existence of multiple identical zeros, it remains unclear if this is the capped zero.
Zero appears in "Thanks for 1,500,000 Subscribers!!" alongside the other Zeroes standing up for himself, finally talking for the first time in the subscriber milestone specials, and saying that the other algebraliens can draw the new milestones on a whiteboard.
In "Thanks for 2,000,000 Subscribers!", Zero and their clones stood near the whiteboard for three days "like [they] usually do". Much to Two's chagrin due to them being in the whiteboard in fear of punishment for letting Fourteen run wild and the integers mistakenly putting Seven in jail along with one of the divided Fourteen Integers.
Zeros appear in "Counting on Christmas" and "Pie Vs Pi: The Pi Day Massacre", but similarly to the one in "The Number Playground Chronicle!", its ambiguous as to if this is the Zero with a cap or another Zero.
In "Thanks for 2,763,000 Subscribers!", Zero is the main focus. He is first seen running up the stairs with the other Zeros, scolding the others for taking a break. After taking the subway to their bunker, they spot and invite Six in, while also taking the chance to send a broadcast to the other Algebralians. In order to defeat the Thing, Zero decides to go through his video tape collection, as one of them contains the key to defeating the powerful being. Much to his embarrassment, however, the tapes are mostly past humiliations of his.
As the episode progresses, Zero becomes increasingly aggravated by this humiliation. After being locked in the fridge while a particularly shameful tape is played, they snap and break out, destroying the TV. When Seven arrives with the current tape, they go with the others to the main base to use that TV. However, before being able to find any particularly useful information from the video, it stops abruptly as 2,763 reaches in and takes Two, Five, Six, Seven, and Eight. Wondering if the being missed them, 2,763 responds in the negative, stating that they have no use for him, as the video ends.
Trivia[]
- They have put a tracking chip into some of the other Algebralians (Two, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten, and Fifteen were all able to be tracked and sent a signal in "Thanks for 2,763,000 Subscribers!")
- They have a crush on Fifteen, as shown in "Thanks for 2,763,000 Subscribers!".
- They are the third character to canonically have a crush on another, although it's in a different canon as BFDI. The first is Woody having a brief crush on Teardrop, shown in "Take the Plunge: Part 1" where he looks at Teardrop with love hearts. The second is Needle as she said she likes Coiny in "Take the Plunge: Part 2", although it is unknown whether she meant this in a platonic or romantic way.
- If the latter two were retconned (which is likely, seeing as there has been no mentions of crushes in the primary canon since "Take the Plunge: Part 2"), this would make Zero the only character to currently canonically have a crush on another.
